Our Technology
Powered by Advanced LED Phototherapy Technology
At Lumina Skin™, we combine cutting-edge medical-grade LED phototherapy with a user-friendly home device. Our technology is inspired by decades of dermatological research and utilizes precisely calibrated light wavelengths to activate the skin’s natural healing and regenerative processes.
Unlike conventional treatments, our LED therapy is non-invasive, safe, and clinically proven to deliver visible results without downtime.
🔹 How our technology works
Targeted Wavelengths – Scientifically Proven Effects
Our mask is equipped with a multi-spectrum LED system designed to deliver specific wavelengths, each targeting a different layer of the skin:
🔴 Red Light (630–660 nm):
Penetrates into the dermis to stimulate fibroblasts and enhance collagen and elastin synthesis. Clinically shown to reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.
🔵 Blue Light (405–420 nm):
Proven antibacterial effect against Cutibacterium acnes (formerly Propionibacterium acnes), the main bacteria responsible for acne. Helps reduce inflammation and breakouts.
🟢 Green Light (520–530 nm):
Calms hyperpigmentation by reducing excess melanin production. Evens skin tone and decreases redness.
🟡 Yellow Light (580–590 nm):
Stimulates lymphatic flow and circulation, improving overall skin vitality and reducing puffiness.
✨ Near-Infrared Light (850 nm):
Reaches the deepest layers of skin, accelerating cell repair and reducing chronic inflammation.
🔹 Why it is safe?
Unlike UV light, LED phototherapy does not damage DNA or skin structures. The light intensities are within safe therapeutic ranges, identical to those used in dermatology clinics. Lumina Skin™ masks are designed with medical-grade diodes and comply with international safety standards.
🔹 Clinical studies and validation
The effectiveness of LED phototherapy is backed by numerous peer-reviewed studies:
- Barolet D. et al. “Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) in dermatology”. Seminars in Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery. 2008.
- Lee SY. et al. “A prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled study of LED phototherapy for skin rejuvenation and acne”. British Journal of Dermatology. 2007.
- Avci P. et al. “Low-level laser (light) therapy (LLLT) in skin: stimulating, healing, restoring”. Seminars in Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery. 2013.
These studies confirm improvements in collagen density, wrinkle reduction, acne clearance, and wound healing.
🔹 Why Lumina Skin™ technology
